Chagrè is Baldetti's Toscana IGT white, an equal blend of Chardonnay and Grechetto grown in the Pietraia vineyards at about 290m elevation. Chardonnay is harvested in early September and Grechetto later in the month; the wine undergoes cold skin maceration, ferments at a controlled 18°C, ages 6 months in stainless steel and at least 2 months in bottle.

Sommelier's Note

Chagrè proves Grechetto deserves more attention outside Umbria — here it adds lift to Chardonnay's roundness.
