About this wine
Brancaia's top Chianti Classico bottling, a 100% Sangiovese sourced exclusively from the single 'Vigna 10' (Block 10) vineyard in Castellina in Chianti, replanted in 1999 with five of the best Sangiovese clones selected as part of the 'Chianti Classico 2000' research project. Aged around 18 months in tonneaux plus further time in concrete, it offers a complex bouquet of red fruit, herbs, leather, licorice, and tobacco with vibrant acidity and silky, persistent tannins.
A serious, age-worthy Sangiovese best appreciated after some Chianti Classico experience.

キャンティ・クラシコ・リゼルヴァ
Chianti Classico Riserva
RedSangiovese · Merlot
Selected from the best Sangiovese parcels at the Brancaia and Poppi estates and blended with a small proportion of Merlot (roughly 80/20), the Riserva is aged for about 16 months in tonneaux (Sangiovese) and barriques (Merlot), followed by further bottle ageing. It shows a deep ruby-magenta hue with cedar, black cherry, balsamic herb, and earthy notes, and a structured, fresh palate with ageing potential of up to 15 years.
トレ
Tre
RedSangiovese · Merlot · Cabernet Sauvignon
Named for its three grapes and three vineyards, Tre blends Sangiovese (around 70%) with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon (about 15% each) from all three Brancaia estates — Castellina, Radda, and the Maremma. Aged about twelve months, two-thirds in French tonneaux and one-third in cement, it shows dark cherry and plum fruit with sweet licorice and sandalwood notes, medium-to-full body, and smooth, approachable tannins.

Chianti Classico
RedSangiovese
Brancaia's entry-level Chianti Classico is the only red in the range made without oak, a single-varietal Sangiovese sourced from the Castellina and Radda in Chianti estates. Aged for around twelve months in steel and cement, it shows a bright ruby color with expressive cherry and Mediterranean herb aromas, juicy red fruit, and well-integrated tannins on a medium-length finish.

Ilatraia
RedCabernet Sauvignon · Petit Verdot · Cabernet Franc
Brancaia's flagship wine from its Maremma coastal estate, named after a hill historically used for growing Petit Verdot. A modern, terroir-driven blend of about 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Petit Verdot, and 20% Cabernet Franc grown on sandy, loamy soils under a hot Mediterranean climate, aged 18 months in barriques (half new). It shows intense currant, blackberry, mint, and licorice aromas with a full-bodied, opulent palate and polished, firm tannins.

Il Blu
RedMerlot · Sangiovese · Cabernet Sauvignon
The wine that put Brancaia on the map of Tuscany's most celebrated estates. A blend of about 80% Merlot with 10% each Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the two Chianti estates (Castellina and Radda). Each variety and vineyard parcel is vinified and aged separately in barriques (two-thirds new) for 18 months before final blending and a further three months in concrete. The result is a full, concentrated wine with blueberry, blackberry, cherry, spiced orange peel, and dark chocolate notes, and tightly packed, polished tannins.
