Château Poupille is a family estate located in Sainte Colombe in the Castillon-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, led by Philippe Carrille — a fifth-generation winemaker whose father Jean-Marie Carrille purchased the property in 1967. Philippe took over in 1988 and transformed the 33-hectare estate into one of Bordeaux's most celebrated organic pioneers, achieving certification in 2008. The estate is planted 97% to Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon, harvested entirely by hand from south-facing clay-limestone terroir. Poupille gained international fame when the 1999 vintage was featured in Volume 9 of the iconic Japanese manga 'Drops of God' (Kami no Shizuku), triggering sales increases of 20-30% in Japan and 50% in Taiwan, China and Korea. The estate also embraces a circular economy: solar panels power the winery, vine stems are used for heating, and barrel rooms are semi-buried for natural temperature control.

Château Puygueraud stands as the undisputed flagship of the Francs-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. The Thienpont family — also owners of the legendary Château Le Pin in Pomerol — acquired the estate in 1946. It was Nicolas Thienpont who, after studies in law and philosophy, returned to the vineyards in 1983 to craft the first official vintage, which met with immediate critical acclaim. Today, Nicolas and his son Cyrille together guide the 49-hectare estate, where clay-limestone soils on marl and asteriated limestone subsoil at 117 metres — the highest point of the Côtes de Francs plateau — produce wines of remarkable freshness and mineral precision. The vineyard is planted to 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Malbec, the Malbec adding a distinctive spice and aromatic lift rarely found in modern Bordeaux. Since 2013, a 4-hectare parcel of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon planted in 1997 has also yielded a celebrated dry white, Puygueraud Blanc, one of the appellation's rarest gems.

Château Pédesclaux is a 5th Growth (Cinquième Cru) classified in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, located in the prestigious Pauillac appellation on the Left Bank of the Gironde. Founded in 1810 by wine broker Urbain-Pierre Pédesclaux, the estate achieved classification in 1855 — just 45 years after its founding. After decades as a sleeping beauty of Pauillac, the estate was transformed from 2009 onward when acquired by entrepreneur Jacky Lorenzetti and his family. A state-of-the-art gravity-fed winery was inaugurated in 2014, designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte. The vineyard spans 50 hectares planted with approximately 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot. Since 2012, the estate began converting to organic farming, and in 2022 achieved 100% organic certification with some parcels farmed biodynamically under the guidance of Antoine Leptit de la Bigne. Consulting oenologist Éric Boissenot supports winemaking alongside technical director Vincent Bache-Gabrielsen. The grand vin is aged approximately 16 months in 60% new French oak barrels. The style is both charming and multi-layered — instantly seductive yet built for the cellar.

Château Pérenne is a historic estate in the Blaye-Côtes de Bordeaux appellation with roots dating to the 18th century, when the property was inhabited by monks from the Saint-Romain de Blaye Abbey. The château itself was built in 1870. The 57-hectare vineyard is planted primarily to Merlot (85%) on clay-limestone soils, complemented by Cabernet Sauvignon (13%), Malbec and Cabernet Franc. The estate produces around 20,000 cases per year of its flagship red wine, along with the prestige cuvée La Croix de Pérenne Cuvée d'Exception, made from 100% old-vine Merlot in very limited quantities. The wines are characterized by ripe berry fruit, dark chocolate, cassis and polished tannins — offering excellent value within the Bordeaux portfolio.

Château Rabaud-Promis is a Premier Grand Cru Classé Sauternes estate located in the commune of Bommes. The estate's history traces to 1660 when it was known as the 'champ de Rabeaud.' In 1903, the original Rabaud property was divided: Adrien Promis acquired the larger share and named it Château Rabaud-Promis, while the Sigalas family retained the remaining portion as Château Sigalas-Rabaud. The 33-hectare vineyard is planted on Pyrenean clay-gravel soils — Sémillon 80%, Sauvignon Blanc 18%, and Muscadelle 2%. Morning mists from the Ciron River foster Botrytis cinerea, enabling the production of concentrated, honeyed sweet wines. After pneumatic pressing, the wine is vinified in stainless steel and French oak barrels, then aged for 12–14 months in 30% new French oak. The Déjean family stewarded the estate from 1950 until 2020, when Jacques Merlaut (owner of Château Gruaud Larose) became a partner, ushering in a new era of investment and excellence.

Château Rauzan-Gassies is a Second Grand Cru Classé of Margaux in the 1855 Classification, sharing its medieval origins with neighbouring Château Rauzan-Ségla before the Rauzan estate was divided in 1763. The 28.5-hectare Left Bank vineyard is planted to roughly 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Petit Verdot on classic Margaux gravel and sand soils. Since 1946 the property has been owned by the Quié family — first Paul, then Jean-Michel, and since 2000 siblings Anne-Françoise and Jean-Philippe — who completed a major renovation of the cellars and vinification equipment in 2013. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats ranging from 25 to 150 hectolitres, and wines are aged for approximately 12 months in 30% new French oak barrels. The estate practises sustainable viticulture, signed the Natura 2000 Charter to preserve local biodiversity, and has begun converting parcels to full organic farming. The second wine is Chevalier de Rauzan-Gassies; an additional third label, L'Orme de Rauzan-Gassies, is produced under the Haut-Médoc AOC.

Château Rauzan-Ségla is a Deuxième Cru Classé (Second Growth) in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, classified in the historic 1855 Bordeaux Classification. Founded in 1661, the estate gained its current name from Baroness Catherine de Rauzan-Ségla in 1816. Even Thomas Jefferson visited Bordeaux in 1787 and subsequently ordered cases of this wine. In 1994, the estate was acquired by brothers Alain and Gérard Wertheimer, owners of the Chanel fashion house, who invested heavily in the winery and vineyards. Under directors John Kolasa and later Nicolas Audebert (from 2015), precision viticulture and organic farming practices were introduced — the vineyard has been organically farmed since 2019 and received official organic certification in 2023. The approximately 51-hectare vineyard is planted with 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. Wines are aged in 50–60% new French oak barrels for 18–20 months. The estate also produces a second wine, Ségla. Some critics now regard Rauzan-Ségla as a 'Super Second', challenging Bordeaux's First Growths.

Château Raymond-Lafon is one of the most celebrated unclassified estates in Sauternes, situated immediately north of and adjacent to the legendary Château d'Yquem. The domain was established in 1850 by Raymond Lafon, but its modern identity was forged in 1972 when Pierre Meslier, who was the régisseur (managing director) of Château d'Yquem and architect of its legendary 1967 vintage, purchased the property. Applying the same exacting standards he had mastered at Yquem, Meslier transformed Raymond-Lafon into what connoisseurs came to call a 'mini Yquem'. The estate's 18 hectares of vines are planted to 80% Sémillon and 20% Sauvignon Blanc, benefiting from the same microclimate as d'Yquem — the morning mists rising from the Ciron river that nurture Botrytis cinerea (noble rot). Harvest is conducted by hand with multiple selective passes (tris) through the vineyard, requiring up to 10 passes to pick only the most perfectly botrytised grapes. The wine is aged in 100% new French oak barrels for three years. Quality standards are absolute: between 20% and 80% of the harvest may be declassified in any given year. By the 1980s, Raymond-Lafon commanded prices exceeding those of many classified growths. Today the estate is run by Pierre's three children — Marie-Françoise, Charles-Henri and Jean-Pierre Meslier — who maintain their father's uncompromising vision.

Château Respide Médeville is a historic estate in the heart of the Graves appellation, Bordeaux. Historical records dating back to 1630 mention the vines of Respide, and the property was already listed among distinguished Bordeaux estates in the 1855 Féret guide. The estate was integrated into the Médeville family holdings by Christian Médeville in 1984. In 2004, his daughter Julie Médeville — who hails from a celebrated Sauternes winemaking family — took over management together with her husband Xavier Gonet, whose family are renowned Champagne producers. Their union of expertise from both Bordeaux and Champagne is reflected in the meticulous, artisanal approach at Respide Médeville. The estate covers 14 hectares atop the first gravel hill north of Langon, with commanding views over the Garonne valley. Sandy, gravelly clay soils give rise to two wines: a Graves Rouge blended from around 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, and a barrel-fermented Graves Blanc made from Sauvignon Blanc, Sémillon, and Muscadelle.
