Casa Emma's entry-level Chianti Classico DOCG is a blend of roughly 90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo and 5% Malvasia Nera, sourced from the estate's organically farmed vineyards around San Donato in Poggio. It shows an intense ruby red color with purple reflections, a lively nose of cherry and forest fruit lifted by a touch of vanilla, and a palate with good structure, velvety tannins and lingering acidity and minerality.
The clearest expression of Casa Emma's organic, low-intervention philosophy at an everyday price point — proof that certified-organic Chianti Classico doesn't have to be a splurge.
