Founded in 1967 in Dudda, within the municipality of Greve in Chianti, by Giovanni Carlo Sacchet and Antonio Mario Zaccheo, Carpineto set out to produce a Chianti Classico of the highest quality. Today the estate farms more than 300 hectares across three of Tuscany's most prestigious appellations — Chianti Classico, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, and Brunello di Montalcino — and is recognized internationally for wines of elegance, structure, and exceptional aging potential.
