Named after the winemakers' daughter Clara, this wine is hand-harvested, whole-bunch pressed and spontaneously fermented in steel, then aged six months on fine lees before unfiltered bottling. Frequently Asked Questions

What does Clara Stella taste like?
Fresh and saline with citrus (lemon, green apple), white flowers and a distinctive mineral, slightly bitter almond finish typical of Vernaccia di San Gimignano.
What food pairs well with Clara Stella?
Seafood antipasti, oysters, fish tartare, and lighter pasta dishes — its acidity and salinity make it a natural match for anything from the sea.
Is Clara Stella a good introduction to Vernaccia di San Gimignano?
Yes. As the estate's youngest, freshest bottling, it is the most approachable way to experience Tuscany's only white DOCG before trying the more structured Rialto or amphora-aged Prima Luce.
At what temperature should Clara Stella be served?
Serve chilled, around 8-10°C, to preserve its freshness and mineral edge.
