Candialle

カンディアッレ

Pure, terroir-driven Sangiovese from the heart of Panzano.

Founded in 1999 when Finnish winemaker Jarkko Peränen and his German wife Josephin purchased a historic farm in the Conca d'Oro valley of Panzano in Chianti, Candialle released its first wines in 2002. The estate farms its roughly 12 hectares of vines — predominantly Sangiovese — organically, and the couple were founding members of a local growers' initiative to make Panzano Italy's first fully organic wine zone. In the cellar, Candialle favors minimal intervention, letting the galestro- and alberese-rich soils of the Conca d'Oro speak through wines of purity, elegance, and vibrant acidity.
