Ca' del Baio's monopole bottling from the Vallegrande cru in Treiso, from vines planted in 1967 and held by the family since the 1970s. Grey calcareous-sandy marl soils with a western exposure give a wine of orange peel, violet, blackberry, and rhubarb character, dry and harmonious with a warm finish.

Sixty days of submerged-cap maceration and 30 months in large oak casks, followed by 12 months in bottle, produce a garnet-red wine with sanguinella orange, violet, blackberry, rhubarb, and incense notes, velvety and warmly tannic.
