Brancaia

Chardonnay

About this wine

Brancaia's first sparkling wine, launched in 2020 and made from 100% Chardonnay using the metodo classico (traditional method). Aged on the lees for at least 24 months before disgorgement, with the dosage enriched by a few drops of Brancaia's own Il Bianco. Named for the way its fine perlage sparkles in the glass like stars, it shows subtle brioche and almond notes with a fine, elegant mousse.

Beginner's Note

An elegant, approachable sparkling wine — a great way to see a still-wine estate's range extend to bubbles.

Sommelier's Note

"Stella shows Brancaia can apply the same precision to bubbles as to its celebrated reds — a metodo classico with genuine finesse."
