Moscato Passito dell'Elba DOC is Sapereta's white dessert wine, made from pure Moscato grapes native to the island. Grapes are picked in small crates and raisined for 15-20 days on drying racks before pressing. The nose is intensely aromatic and penetrating, typical of moscato, while the palate is sweet and generous with lingering notes of apricot, white peach, and dried fruit.
A textbook example of why moscato passito deserves more attention outside Italy — vivid, aromatic, and never cloying.
