Langhe DOC Bianco Lumiè

ランゲ DOC ビアンコ「ルミエ」

Abrigo Fratelli

Chardonnay · Arneis · Favorita

About this wine

Lumiè is Abrigo Fratelli's fresh, aromatic white blend of Chardonnay, Arneis and Favorita — three grapes native to or widely planted in Piedmont. The grapes are gently pressed immediately after harvest, fermented at low temperature, matured sur lie for about four months, and bottled the following February, resulting in a light, easy-drinking white that shows the winery's range beyond its classic reds.

Beginner's Note

Light-bodied and fruit-forward — an easy, no-fuss white for anyone new to Piedmontese wine beyond Nebbiolo and Dolcetto.

Sommelier's Note

"Proof that a Barolo-and-Dolcetto house can still make a thoroughly enjoyable everyday white — Lumiè doesn't try to be more than a fresh, honest Piedmontese blend, and that's exactly its appeal."

Food Pairings

A versatile aperitif white that also pairs well with light pasta, seafood antipasti, and fresh cheeses.

When to drink it
