A historic Cahors estate with roots stretching back 500 years, Château Lagrézette was revived from 1980 by Alain-Dominique Perrin, former chairman of Cartier, working with oenologist Michel Rolland to elevate Malbec to world-class status. Its landmark three-level gravity cellar, built in 1992, sits beneath a 15th-century château linked by a 150-metre underground tunnel. In December 2025, Perrin passed leadership to his daughter Sonia Perrin, who continues the estate's focus on wine, heritage, and art. Flagship wines include Château Lagrézette and Le Pigeonnier, prized for their depth, velvety tannins, and long aging potential.

Located in the commune of Haux, southwest of Bordeaux, Château Lamothe de Haux has crafted estate-bottled wines since the 16th century. The Néel-Chombart family has managed the estate since 1956, with the tradition passed from mother to daughter through four generations — first the Perriquets, then the Néels, now the Chombarts. Spanning approximately 80 hectares of clay-limestone slopes, the estate produces around 400,000 bottles annually. Medieval troglodyte quarries carved from limestone serve as natural cellars, providing ideal temperature and humidity for maturation. The white wine stands out with an unusually high 20% Muscadelle component (alongside 40% Sauvignon Blanc and 40% Sémillon), delivering an intensely aromatic and floral character. Red wines blend 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Cabernet Franc, with both a stainless-steel-aged Cuvée Traditionnelle and a barrel-aged Première Cuvée. The estate also produces sweet Cadillac Blanc Liquoreux and an innovative Zeste Orange Sémillon, all under a firm commitment to sustainable viticulture.

Château Lamothe is a historic estate located in Lansac in the Côtes de Bourg appellation, on the right bank of the Gironde estuary. Founded in the 18th century, it was already cited among the 'crus bourgeois' of Côtes de Bourg in the seminal 1868 reference work 'Bordeaux et ses Vins.' The estate was acquired in 1900 by François Pessonnier, a local winegrower, and has remained in the family for over a century. In the mid-19th century, former owner Pierre Charpentier, a Bordeaux wine merchant, gave the château's wines international prominence by exporting them to the United States. Today the property is run by Anne Pousse-Pessonnier, great-granddaughter of the original Pessonnier who acquired it, who took over management in 1991. The 22-hectare vineyard is planted on clay-limestone and gravelly argillaceous soils characteristic of Lansac, producing red wines from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec (Côt) and Cabernet Franc. The estate produces several cuvées including the classic range, the Réserve Joubert, and the Grande Réserve, which has been recognised with stars in the Guide Hachette des Vins. Not to be confused with Château Lamothe de Haux in the Cadillac Côtes de Bordeaux appellation, which is an entirely separate estate.

Château Langoa Barton is a Third Growth (Troisième Cru) estate in the 1855 Bordeaux classification, located in the Saint-Julien appellation. The estate has been in the Barton family's continuous ownership since 1821 — making it one of the few 1855 classified châteaux still held by the same family as at the time of the classification. The Barton family's Bordeaux roots trace back to 1722, when Thomas Barton emigrated from Ireland to become a négociant. The 18-hectare vineyard is planted with approximately 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, and 9% Cabernet Franc on gravel and clay soils with an average vine age of 35 years. Winemaking is traditionally oriented: fermentation takes place in large oak vats, with the wine aged for around 20 months in 50% new French oak barrels. Annual production is around 7,500 cases. The château also serves as the winemaking facility for its prestigious sister property, Château Léoville Barton.

Owned and operated by the Gonfrier family—winemakers since 1830 who today manage over 1,400 hectares across the Garonne region—the château blends historic grandeur with modern environmental commitment. Wines are aged in French oak barrels in a remarkable 17th-century underground cellar carved from limestone beneath the medieval castle—formerly a limestone quarry—which provides ideal natural temperature and humidity for slow, elegant maturation. The estate holds HVE3 (High Environmental Value), Terra Vitis, and Organic (AB) certifications, underscoring the family's commitment to sustainable viticulture. A Second Grand Cru Classé in 1855 with 120 hectares in Margaux, Château Lascombes takes its name from Antoine, Chevalier de Lascombes, who owned the estate in the 17th century. Under American investor Alexis Lichine from 1952, the estate grew substantially. In 2022, Gaylon Lawrence Jr. (owner of Heitz Cellar, Napa) acquired the château and appointed renowned winemaker Axel Heinz — former technical director of Ornellaia for 17 years — as Director in 2023. Under Heinz's vision, Grand Vin production was dramatically reduced, Cabernet Sauvignon increased, and gentle infusion-based extractions introduced to reveal Margaux's true elegance. The estate's diverse terroir ranges from gravelly plateau ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, to clay-gravel and clay-limestone plots suited to Merlot, producing wines that age 10–25 years.
