Rewoven is a gently sparkling orange wine from Natan Winery, made from 100% Delaware grapes grown in Yamagata Prefecture by the "Budo to Ikiru" growers' collective. Four different winemakers, including Natan's own Namika Inoshita, each interpreted a portion of the same fruit in their own way, and the wine's embroidered label depicts four grape leaves joined by tendrils, echoing the idea of individual threads rewoven into one. Fermented with wild yeast and bottled without added sulfites or filtration, it shows a deep amber hue with ripe fruit and citrus aromas, a touch of natural sweetness balanced by bright, almost fruit-vinegar-like acidity, a pleasant bitterness, and a fine, delicate natural sparkle that requires chilled storage.

Sommelier's Note

A collaborative cuvée in the truest sense — four winemakers' interpretations of the same Yamagata Delaware, rewoven into a single wine with a gentle fizz and a fruit-vinegar-bright edge.

A gently sparkling, easy-sipping orange wine with a hint of sweetness — a friendly entry point into skin-contact wines.

Food Pairings

The bright acidity and gentle bitterness make Rewoven a natural match for dishes with a touch of vinegar or citrus, such as ponzu-dressed fried chicken, spring rolls, or a citrus-dressed salad; its subtle sweetness also pairs well with mildly spiced dishes.
