About this wine
A very limited-production white made from 100% Arneis, labeled as Langhe Bianco since the grapes come from Neive rather than the Roero appellation. "Mun Crü" — Piedmontese dialect for "raw bricks" — is the traditional name for this particular area of Neive. Aged entirely in steel for a pure expression of site, it shows bright yellow-gold color with jasmine, sweet citrus peel, white peach and acacia honey, round and long on the palate.
A rare, food-friendly white from a producer better known for red wine — worth seeking out.
Sommelier's Note
"In a portfolio built around Nebbiolo, Mun Crü is the surprise — a tiny-production Arneis with real texture and honeyed depth, not just a palate cleanser."

Terroir & Winemaking
100% Arneis from the Mun Crü area of Neive, labeled Langhe Bianco DOC (the fruit falls outside the Roero Arneis DOCG zone). Hand-harvested, aged entirely in stainless steel with no oak, for a very limited annual production offered first to the estate's longtime customers.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Why is Mun Crü labeled Langhe Bianco instead of Roero Arneis?
- The Arneis grapes are grown in the Mun Crü area of Neive, which falls outside the Roero DOCG zone where Arneis is traditionally classified, so the wine is bottled under the broader Langhe Bianco DOC.
- What does the name Mun Crü mean?
- It's Piedmontese dialect for "raw bricks," the traditional local name for this specific area of Neive where the vineyard is located.
- Is this wine easy to find?
- No — production is very limited and the wine is typically offered first to the estate's longtime customers, so availability outside Italy can be scarce.

バルバレスコ・リオ・ソルド
Barbaresco Rio Sordo
RedNebbiolo
The estate's flagship single-vineyard Barbaresco, from old vines planted in 1978 on the deep, clay-rich soils of the Rio Sordo cru — the site the winery itself is named after. Fermented with native yeasts and aged around 22 months in large Slavonian botti with no new oak, it shows the bolder, more mulberry-and-dark-cherry-toned side of Cascina delle Rose's production, with camphor, rose, forest floor and liquorice framed by fine, fresh tannins.
バルバレスコ・トレ・ステッレ
Barbaresco Tre Stelle
RedNebbiolo
A single-vineyard Barbaresco from the calcareous-soil Tre Stelle cru, where a thin layer of earth over pure limestone yields the estate's most aromatic and fine-boned wine. Expect rose, violet, wild cherry and orange peel with snappy, silky tannins — the ethereal counterpart to the deeper Rio Sordo.
バルバレスコ・マルコリーノ
Barbaresco Marcorino
RedNebbiolo
The estate's newest single-vineyard Barbaresco, from a half-hectare parcel in the Marcorino cru (Neive) that Cascina delle Rose began farming organically in 2018 and purchased outright in 2024. Bright, transparent garnet in color, it shows floral, red-fruit and undergrowth aromas with dense yet silky tannins, adding a third, distinct voice to the estate's cru trilogy alongside Rio Sordo and Tre Stelle.
ランゲ・ネッビオーロ
Langhe Nebbiolo
RedNebbiolo
An entry point into Cascina delle Rose's Nebbiolo, refined entirely in steel and concrete with no wood contact, for a pure, youthful expression of the grape and territory. Crushed flowers, sweet red-berry fruit, kirsch, mint and white pepper lead to a fresh, silky-tannined palate with a persistent finish.
バルベーラ・ダルバ・スペリオーレ・ドンナ・エレナ
Barbera d'Alba Superiore Donna Elena
RedBarbera
A structured, barrel-aged Barbera from old vine selections planted in the lean, mineral-rich soils of Barbaresco village. Fermented in steel and aged roughly 20 months in large Slavonian oak botti, it opens with strawberry and rhubarb jam and fresh herbs, with wild red and blue berries shining on a pure, balanced palate.
ドルチェット・ダルバ・ア・エリザベート
Dolcetto d'Alba A Elizabeth
RedDolcetto
A light, easy-drinking young red named after Elizabeth, a friend of the estate who helps with the harvest each year. Hand-harvested, softly pressed and fermented naturally with native yeasts on the skins for about 10 days in steel and cement, it shows delicate wild rose, violet and cherry aromas with cinnamon and clove notes, structured by good acidity and round tannins.
