A Vin Santo del Chianti Riserva DOC made from a hand-picked selection of Malvasia and Trebbiano grapes from the Podere Casale I° estate. The grapes are dried naturally for three to four months after harvest, then fermented and rested for at least 48 months in small barrels (caratelli). Intense golden yellow with deep amber and gold reflections, it offers a broad, penetrating aroma of dried fruit, nuts, honey, vanilla and sweet spice, capable of long aging of 10-15 years and beyond.

Sommelier's Note

With 48 months in small caratelli barrels, this is a serious, age-worthy Vin Santo — not a token dessert wine, but a genuine expression of Tuscan passito tradition.
