A barrique-fermented Chardonnay bottled as Toscana IGT, sourced from experimental Chardonnay vineyards planted at the estate in 1980 — among the earliest Chardonnay plantings in the San Gimignano area. Pale straw-yellow with golden reflections, it shows an intense bouquet of butter, pastry, spice, talc and candied orange, with a dry, marine-mineral palate and honeyed, orange-toned finish.
A quietly historic wine — from one of the first Chardonnay plantings in San Gimignano, decades before it became fashionable in Tuscany.
