About this wine

Caparsino is the flagship Chianti Classico Riserva from the Caparsa estate, located in the heart of Radda in Chianti. Crafted from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown at 450 meters elevation in galestro and alberese soils, this wine is a testament to traditional, terroir-driven winemaking. It undergoes spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts in concrete vats and is aged in large 18hl oak barrels for approximately 15 to 24 months. The result is a structured, soulful, and deeply complex wine that balances vibrant acidity with firm, refined tannins, offering notes of wild cherry, tobacco, leather, and blood orange.
