A step up from the entry Chianti, this Riserva (typically around 90% Sangiovese with small portions of Canaiolo and Malvasia, with some vintages bottled as 100% Sangiovese) is aged in oak barrels, giving it a garnet-tinged ruby color, an intense, lingering bouquet and a dry, velvety palate with a long finish.
