Cà Brusà

Nebbiolo

About this wine

Briccolino is Cà Brusà's lighter, early-release expression of Nebbiolo, named after one of the estate's vineyard plots and made from vines averaging 30 years old. Vinified with a very short maceration and aged only about 4 months in small oak barrels, it is released in early spring as a soft, round, and fresh style of Nebbiolo. It shows a bright, intense garnet red color with slight orange tones, and a bouquet of cherry, plum jam, and raspberry.

Sommelier's Note

"Briccolino shows Nebbiolo's playful side — all the varietal's rose-petal charm, none of Barolo's demands."
