Named after Pliny the Elder, author of the first viticulture manual, Plinio blends 85% Vermentino with 15% Viognier. Straw yellow with green highlights, it shows an intense floral and fruity bouquet of exotic fruit, peach and wildflowers, with a fresh, full palate and long mineral finish. The 2022 vintage scored 92 points from Falstaff.
Once singled out by Robert Parker as among the finest Vermentinos anywhere — Plinio over-delivers for its price.
