Vallocaia Riserva

ヴァロッカイア リゼルヴァ

Bindella

Sangiovese · Colorino del Valdarno

About this wine

Vallocaia Riserva is one of Bindella's two flagship wines, a Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG made from roughly 95% Sangiovese and 5% Colorino del Valdarno, sourced from red-soil parcels in the Argiano area. It combines the power and concentration typical of clay soils with the aromatic depth of sandy soils. Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel and aged in French oak tonneaux, it shows a complex nose of iris, citrus, and small black fruits with elegant balsamic notes, a progressive palate, and tannins of rare finesse.

Beginner's Note

A classic, high-quality Tuscan red that showcases the true depth of Sangiovese when aged with care.

Sommelier's Note

"Vallocaia Riserva captures Bindella's philosophy in full: power from clay, perfume from sand, and tannins of rare finesse — a benchmark modern Vino Nobile."
