Dolce Sinfonia

ドルチェ・シンフォニア

Bindella

Trebbiano · Malvasia

About this wine

Dolce Sinfonia is Bindella's Vin Santo di Montepulciano, a traditional Tuscan dessert wine made from Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes dried after harvest (appassimento) to concentrate sugars and flavors, then aged for years in small oak barrels. The result is a rich, amber-colored wine with notes of dried apricot, honey, roasted nuts, and caramel, balanced by a vibrant acidity that keeps it from being cloying.

Beginner's Note

A luxurious dessert wine — serve it slightly chilled and sip slowly to enjoy its evolving honey and nut flavors.

Sommelier's Note

"Dolce Sinfonia is a wine of patience — the concentrated sweetness and vibrant acidity make it one of the more serious Vin Santo expressions worth seeking out."

Food Pairings

Pairs perfectly with traditional Cantucci almond biscuits, blue cheeses like Gorgonzola, and foie gras. It also pairs surprisingly well with Japanese sweets like chestnut yokan.

When to drink it

Ideal for concluding a sophisticated dinner or celebrating a special anniversary.
