Collection Superior Delaware Orange is a still (non-sparkling) orange wine from Bellwood Vineyard, made with field-grown seeded Delaware from the Kubote district of Kaminoyama, Yamagata. The must undergoes an initial cold maceration followed by roughly 17 days of skin-contact fermentation, then rests around 6 months in older oak barrels for a rounder, more textured character. The result is a dry, medium-bodied orange wine with pineapple, apricot, and honeyed aromatics layered with spice, soft acidity, and pleasant, well-integrated tannins.
