Domaine Cloche Trinité Orange

ドメーヌ クロッシュ トリニテ オランジュ

Bellwood Vineyard

Pinot Gris · Sauvignon Blanc · Pinot Noir

About this wine

Domaine Cloche Trinité Orange is Bellwood Vineyard's flagship blended orange wine, made from estate-grown grapes on the north-facing slope of the winery's Kaminoyama vineyard: 72% Pinot Gris, 15% Sauvignon Blanc, and 13% Pinot Noir. Fermented on skins and aged around 10 months in French oak barrels followed by extended bottle aging, it shows aromas of apricot, peach, and orange peel layered with vanilla and nutty oak notes, framed by smooth acidity and elegant, refined tannins. Production is limited to a few hundred bottles per vintage.

Beginner's Note

A refined, oak-aged introduction to Japanese orange wine — more structured than a pét-nat, but still approachable

Sommelier's Note

"Bellwood's most ambitious cuvée — a barrel-aged orange blend that proves Japanese orange wine can age with real complexity"

Food Pairings

Excellent with roasted chicken, mushroom dishes, and semi-hard cheeses; the oak-derived richness also stands up to grilled pork and Chinese-style braised dishes.

When to drink it

Special dinners, gifting, pairing with richer roasted or grilled dishes
