The flagship wine of Barone Ricasoli and one of Chianti Classico Gran Selezione's most iconic bottlings, produced only in the best vintages from a meticulous selection of estate-grown grapes across roughly 240 hectares of vineyards. The blend of about 97% Sangiovese and 3% Abrusco (an ancient local variety) is vinified plot by plot and then assembled, giving a wine of great complexity, balance and elegance.
