The flagship red of Tenuta Campo al Mare, an estate the Folonari family began building in 1999 on the Tuscan coast in Bolgheri. A Bordeaux-style blend typically of 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, aged 12 months in one-year-old French barriques and at least 3 months in bottle, benefiting from Bolgheri's sea-moderated climate and clay-sand soils.
Bolgheri's sea breeze in a glass — ripe berries, milk chocolate and vanilla wrapped around full-bodied, grippy tannins.
