Badia a Passignano
Badia a Passignano is Marchesi Antinori's historic estate at the heart of Chianti Classico, built around a Vallombrosan abbey (Badia di San Michele Arcangelo a Passignano) first documented in the 890s and still partly inhabited by monks. Near San Donato in Poggio, the 223-hectare property (about 65 hectares under vine) sits on limestone-and-clay soils at roughly 300 meters altitude. It produces the single-vineyard Badia a Passignano Chianti Classico Gran Selezione, made entirely from Sangiovese and aged in the abbey's 10th-century cellars, alongside the Michelin-starred Osteria di Passignano restaurant on the same grounds.

Castello della Paneretta
Castello della Paneretta is a historic estate in San Donato in Poggio, at the heart of the Chianti Classico denomination, on the western slopes of the Val d'Elsa hills facing San Gimignano. Built around a 13th-century watchtower and documented as a wine producer since 1596, the property has been owned by the Albisetti family since 1984. Spanning 309 hectares in total — one of the largest holdings in the area, mostly woodland with roughly 23 hectares under vine — the estate is planted exclusively to indigenous Tuscan varieties: Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero, and a small amount of Colorino. The wines, including the flagship Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, and the IGT Toscana blend 'Terrine', are fermented and aged with a traditionalist approach that favors old vines and native grapes over international varieties, expressing the elegance and structure typical of the San Donato in Poggio sub-zone.

Le Filigare
Le Filigare is a fourth-generation family winery owned by the Cassetti Burchi family, situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico region between the villages of San Donato in Poggio (Barberino Tavarnelle) and Castellina in Chianti. The estate spans roughly 60 hectares, of which about 12-13 hectares are planted to vine at altitudes between 400 and 550 meters, where alberese and galestro soils and a favorable microclimate lend the wines mineral character and elegance. Since 2016 Le Filigare has been certified organic, farming Sangiovese alongside Colorino, Canaiolo and small amounts of international varieties to produce Chianti Classico DOCG (Annata, Riserva and Gran Selezione), IGT Toscana, Vin Santo, grappa and brandy.
