Le Filigare

レ・フィリガーレ

Certified organic Chianti Classico, four generations strong

Le Filigare is a fourth-generation family winery owned by the Cassetti Burchi family, situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico region between the villages of San Donato in Poggio (Barberino Tavarnelle) and Castellina in Chianti. The estate spans roughly 60 hectares, of which about 12-13 hectares are planted to vine at altitudes between 400 and 550 meters, where alberese and galestro soils and a favorable microclimate lend the wines mineral character and elegance. Since 2016 Le Filigare has been certified organic, farming Sangiovese alongside Colorino, Canaiolo and small amounts of international varieties to produce Chianti Classico DOCG (Annata, Riserva and Gran Selezione), IGT Toscana, Vin Santo, grappa and brandy.
