Additive-Free Niagara is Swiss Village Winery's sulfite-free white, made from 100% Niagara grapes grown in Nagano Prefecture. It offers the same fragrant, grapey aroma and gentle natural sweetness typical of Niagara, but no sulfites (oxidation-preventing agents) are added during production. Because of this, the winery advises drinking it soon after purchase rather than cellaring it. Best served chilled at 7-10°C.
Niagara's grapey, floral aroma shines even more without added sulfites — one of the most fragrant entry-level whites from Nagano.
New to wine?
A fragrant, gently sweet white with soft acidity — an easy, approachable entry point for those new to Japanese wine.
Food Pairings
Its aromatic sweetness pairs well with fruit-topped desserts, soft cheeses like Camembert, and mildly spiced dishes; it also matches nicely with Japanese-style sweet-and-savory dishes such as teriyaki chicken.
