A dry, barrel-fermented white made from 100% Chardonnay grown in Sinano Wine's home vineyards in Kikyogahara, Shiojiri — the same gravelly, diurnally-swinging terroir behind the winery's signature Merlot. Elegant citrus aromas mingle with subtle toasty oak notes from barrel aging, framed by refined, well-balanced acidity and a lingering finish. The wine won Silver at Japan's national wine competition in 2022.
One of Nagano's most reliably elegant oaked Chardonnays — a benchmark for how well Kikyogahara terroir handles barrel aging.
