A no-added-sulfite dry white from Sinano Wine's flagship 'Kanon' (Japanese for 'sound of music') line, one of five wines in the range named after the five lines of a musical staff. Made from 100% late-harvest Niagara grapes grown in the winery's own and contracted vineyards in Kikyogahara, Shiojiri, and fermented without added antioxidants. Shows the variety's signature floral, grapey aroma with a crisp, clean dry finish and bright acidity, sealed under an easy-open screw cap.

Sommelier's Note

The Niagara grape rarely gets to show real dry-style restraint — Kanon White Dry proves it can, with floral lift and clean acidity instead of cloying sweetness.

Frequently Asked Questions

What grape is Sinano Kanon White (Dry) made from?
It is made from 100% Niagara, a fragrant American-hybrid variety long grown in Kikyogahara, Shiojiri.
Is Kanon White Dry sweet or dry?
Despite Niagara's naturally floral, grapey aroma, this bottling is vinified in a fully dry style with crisp acidity — it belongs to the dry (辛口) side of the Kanon range, alongside a separate sweet (甘口) version.
Does Kanon White Dry contain added sulfites?
No. It is fermented and bottled without added antioxidants (sulfites), one of the defining features of Sinano Wine's Kanon line.
Is Kanon the same as Sinano Wine's classical-music-aged wines?
No. Classical-music aging is a technique used for Sinano Wine's separate 'Grape Symphony' (葡萄交響曲) series. Kanon is a different, additive-free line named after the five lines of a musical staff.
