A semi-sweet, additive-free rosé from Sinano Wine's 'Kanon' (かのん) line — the fifth wine in a five-strong range named after the five lines of a musical staff. Made from 100% Concord grown on the winery's own and contracted vineyards in Kikyogahara, Shiojiri, using late-harvest fruit fermented without added sulfites. Sold in a screw-capped bottle (720ml, also offered in 1800ml and 360ml) at 12% ABV, it shows Concord's signature candied, floral aroma in a delicate rose-pink glass, balanced by bright acidity and a refined touch of sweetness — softer and easier-drinking than its dry 'Kanon Red' sibling.

Sommelier's Note

The softest, most approachable wine in the entire Kanon line — Concord's candied aroma and gentle sweetness fill a pretty rose-pink glass, proof that additive-free rosé doesn't have to be austere.

New to wine?

A gentle, candy-fruited rosé with soft sweetness and no tannin to worry about — an easy first step into both Japanese rosé and additive-free wine.

Food Pairings

Its delicate sweetness and bright acidity make it a natural match for light Japanese fare — citrus ponzu-dressed sashimi, cold tofu, or a fruit-and-cheese platter — as well as mildly spicy dishes that benefit from a touch of sweetness to cool the palate.

When to drink it

A chilled aperitif on a warm evening, a light lunch with friends, or a gift for someone new to wine.
