'Budo no Shirabe' (Grape's Melody) White is Sinano Wine's everyday, reasonably priced white made from 100% Niagara grapes grown around Kikyogahara, Shiojiri, Nagano, and bottled in a generous 1,800ml format. Sold year-round — unlike the winery's limited-edition November-to-December nouveau 'Aki Kaoru' Niagara white, released each autumn from that season's fresh harvest — it is an off-dry (yaya karakuchi) style with Niagara's vivid, grapey aroma, refreshing acidity, and essentially no tannin, suited to daily drinking and casual cooking use.

Sommelier's Note

The year-round, everyday counterpart to Sinano's autumn-only 'Aki Kaoru' Niagara nouveau — same grape, softer and more settled, built for the dinner table rather than the harvest celebration.

New to wine?

An easy-drinking, tannin-free Niagara white — a gentle first step into Japanese wine.

Food Pairings

The producer's own recommendation is fried potatoes (French fries). Its crisp, tannin-free profile also pairs easily with fried chicken (karaage), tempura, and other lightly salted Japanese fried foods.

When to drink it

Everyday drinking, casual meals, and as a cooking wine.
