'Budo no Shirabe' (Grape's Melody) Rosé is Sinano Wine's everyday, reasonably priced rosé made from a blend of Niagara and Concord grapes grown around Kikyogahara, Shiojiri, Nagano, and bottled in a generous 1,800ml format. Sold year-round — unlike the winery's limited-edition, early-November nouveau 'Aki Kaoru' Concord Rosé, vinified without added sulfites from 100% of that season's fresh Concord harvest at 8% ABV — it shows the lively, fragrant aromas of both grape varieties in a semi-sweet (yaya amakuchi) style, with abundant acidity and light tannin, at 9% ABV.

Sommelier's Note

A year-round staple that captures the fragrant character of both Niagara and Concord in one glass — the everyday counterpart to Sinano's seasonal 'Aki Kaoru' nouveau rosé, always in stock and always gently sweet.

New to wine?

Low in tannin with a balanced sweet-and-tart profile, making it an easy entry point into rosé and Japanese wine.

Food Pairings

The winery's own pairing suggestions are oyakodon (chicken-and-egg rice bowl) and curry rice. Its semi-sweet style with bright acidity also suits teriyaki chicken, sweet-and-sour pork, and other savory-sweet Japanese and Chinese dishes; well chilled, it also works nicely as an aperitif.

When to drink it

Great for everyday drinking with dinner, or chilled as an aperitif.
