Zephyr Koshu is a single-varietal dry white from Ryomi Vineyard & Winery's approachable, direct-shop-only Zephyr series, made entirely from Japan's native Koshu grape. It shows bright grapefruit and citrus aromatics over an aromatic, crisp, dry palate designed to complement rather than overwhelm the delicate flavors of Japanese cuisine. The 2023 vintage won Gold at the 2025 Sakura Award, continuing a long track record of awards for the winery's Koshu bottlings across vintages.
Among Ryomi's whites, this is the one to reach for with Japanese food -- its citrus brightness makes it an exceptionally food-friendly, everyday pour.
