About this wine
A varietal Grignolino, a light-colored, food-friendly native Piedmontese red bordering on rosé. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and briefly macerated, then aged in steel tanks, it shows a medium-light structure with pale color, complex red-fruit perfumes especially of small strawberries, and a spicy, herbaceous bouquet, best served lightly chilled.
Pale, light and gently tannic — an easy year-round red for those who find bigger reds too heavy.
Sommelier's Note
"Grignolino looks like a rosé but drinks like a red — don't let the pale color fool you into underestimating its structure."

Barolo Riserva Bricco Boschis Vigna San Giuseppe
RedNebbiolo
Cavallotto's top single-parcel Riserva, produced only in the best vintages from the San Giuseppe cru within the Bricco Boschis vineyard. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and macerated on the skins for 20-35 days, it is aged for 4 to 5 years in large Slavonian oak casks. The result is a Barolo of great structure, elegance and complexity, opening with fruity perfume before revealing floral and spice nuances, with the ageing potential to develop for decades.
Barolo Bricco Boschis
RedNebbiolo
Cavallotto's flagship Barolo, sourced entirely from the family's monopole Bricco Boschis vineyard in Castiglione Falletto, certified organic since 1976. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and macerated on the skins for roughly 20-35 days, the wine ages for around 3 to 3.5 years in large Slavonian oak botti before further bottle aging. The result is a classic, traditionally styled Barolo showing cherry, raspberry and plum fruit shaded by earth, menthol and tar, with firm but polished tannins that balance power and elegance.
Barolo Riserva Vignolo
RedNebbiolo
A single-vineyard Riserva from the 1.96-hectare Vignolo cru, planted in 1948 and 1966 on a southwest-facing slope. Aged for an extended 60 months (5 years) in large Slavonian oak casks, it offers heady aromas of pine forest, cedar, ripe red berry and spice, with a full-bodied palate of Morello cherry, truffle, orange zest and pomegranate, framed by tight, fine-grained tannins and bright acidity.
Langhe Nebbiolo
RedNebbiolo
An approachable entry point to Cavallotto's Nebbiolo, sourced from younger vines across the estate's Bricco Boschis, Vignolo, Codana and Pernanno parcels. Vinified in much the same way as the estate's Barolo but with a shorter oak-aging period, it shows classic Nebbiolo aromas of red berry, wild rose, hay and cedar, with a dry, full-bodied palate of strawberry, bitter orange and spice.
Barbera d'Alba Superiore Vigna del Cuculo
RedBarbera
A single-vineyard Barbera from the Vigna del Cuculo parcel within the Bricco Boschis estate. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged in Slavonian oak casks, it shows an intense, expressive bouquet of blackberry, ripe plum, spice and tobacco, with a full-bodied, high-acid, low-tannin palate of Morello cherry, raspberry jam and peppercorn typical of great Barolo-zone Barbera.
Dolcetto d'Alba Vigna Scot
RedDolcetto
A single-vineyard Dolcetto from the limestone-rich Vigna Scot parcel in Castiglione Falletto. Deep ruby with violet glints, it offers aromas of black cherry, wild plum and crushed violets with hints of licorice and almond, leading to a vibrant, supple palate of juicy dark berries, silken tannins and a touch of black pepper, finishing with the mineral, bitter-cherry lift characteristic of the Scot vineyard's soils.
