Chianti Classico Riserva
キャンティ・クラシコ・リゼルヴァ
Castello di Querceto
Sangiovese · Canaiolo
About this wine
The estate's Riserva bottling, built from roughly 90% Sangiovese with Canaiolo and other traditional autochthonous varieties. Fermented for about 15 days at 28°C, it ages a minimum of 24 months, including at least 3 months in bottle, for greater depth, structure and aging potential than the base Chianti Classico.
A step up in structure from the base Chianti Classico — still approachable, with more depth and grip.
Sommelier's Note
"The extra fermentation time and two years of aging show clearly — this Riserva has real backbone without losing Sangiovese's savory edge."
Food Pairings
Suited to grilled and roasted red meats, ragù-based pasta, and aged cheeses; the firmer tannins and oak-derived spice stand up to richer dishes.
When to drink it
Sunday roast dinners, special occasion Italian meals, cellar-worthy gifting
