Corbaia

コルバイア

Castello di Bossi

Sangiovese · Cabernet Sauvignon

About this wine

The estate's flagship Super Tuscan, a Toscana IGT blend of roughly 70% Sangiovese and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon from clay and tufo-rich soils in the historic Corbaia vineyard. Fermented in stainless steel and matured in Allier oak barriques. Jammy aromas of black currant, cherry and cassis with tobacco, mocha and vanilla; full-bodied yet supple, with rich texture and well-integrated tannins. The 2022 vintage received 95 points from Vinous.

Beginner's Note

A serious Super Tuscan with broad appeal — riper and rounder than a classic Chianti Classico, but still balanced.

"Corbaia is the wine that put Castello di Bossi on the international map — a Sangiovese-Cabernet blend with the density to rival Tuscany's best-known Super Tuscans."
