Sourced from Nebbiolo vines in the Bricco Lago cru of Monforte d'Alba, where the vines cascade down from the chapel of San Sebastiano toward the only natural lake in the Langhe, on clay-and-limestone soils rich in biodiversity. Vinified with a partial whole-berry component and raised in cask, it shows bright ruby colour, wild strawberry, spice and sweet flowers, evolving toward rose and violet, with a chalky texture, fine tannins and a persistent, wide drinking window.
The most approachable Nebbiolo in the Penna-Currado range — a chalky-textured, rose-scented glimpse of the same San Sebastiano hillside that produces their more serious bottlings.

Terroir & Winemaking
100% Nebbiolo from the Bricco Lago cru, Monforte d'Alba, on clay-limestone soils. Fermented with a portion (roughly 30-40%) of whole berries, aged in cask (botte/tonneau) to build structure while preserving freshness. Designed as an earlier-drinking, Langhe DOC expression of the Penna-Currado Nebbiolo style, distinct from the estate's single-vineyard San Sebastiano Nebbiolo d'Alba Superiore.
