Bricco Lago

ブリッコ・ラーゴ

Cascina Carrà

Dolcetto

About this wine

A 100% Dolcetto from the Dogliani DOCG appellation, grown on hillside vineyards between 350 and 450 meters above sea level. Maceration takes place in stainless steel for 5–7 days at 25–27°C, followed by at least 14 months of aging — a minimum of 8 months in small oak barrels and 6 months in bottle — giving more structure and depth than Cascina Carrà's straight Dolcetto d'Alba.

Beginner's Note

A step up from everyday Dolcetto — oak-aged but still approachable and food-friendly.

Sommelier's Note

"Bricco Lago shows what Dolcetto can become with a little oak and patience — still generous, but with real backbone."

Food Pairings

Suited to richer fare than simple Dolcetto — braised meats, mushroom risotto, and seasoned hard cheeses.

When to drink it

Dinner parties, autumn and winter meals with richer dishes
