バルバレスコ DOCG

Cantina Parroco di Neive

Nebbiolo

About this wine

Cantina Parroco di Neive's flagship Barbaresco DOCG, produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grown in the estate's six hectares across the noted Gallina, Cottà, and Gaia crus. Fermented at controlled temperature with the délestage technique and aged for at least 9 months in medium/large oak barrels, followed by further bottle refinement. Delicate ruby red with orange reflections as it ages, showing black cherry, violet, tobacco, and licorice notes with soft, well-integrated tannins.

Beginner's Note

A traditionally styled, accessibly priced entry point into Barbaresco's noble Nebbiolo character.

Sommelier's Note

"Proof that Barbaresco doesn't need a famous name to deliver real Nebbiolo nobility — quietly one of Neive's best-value bottles."

Food Pairings

Classic partner for braised beef (brasato al Barolo-style), porcini mushroom risotto, aged Toma cheese, and roasted game.

When to drink it

Special dinners, red meat mains, cheese course, cellar-worthy gift bottle.
