A sulfite-free Rosso Toscano IGT blending roughly 90% Sangiovese with 10% Alicante. Grapes are sorted, destemmed, crushed and fermented for about ten days in small temperature-controlled steel tanks; the wine is protected from air contact at every stage and no sulphites or other antioxidants are added. Aromas of red-skinned berries, underbrush and white pepper lead to a juicy palate of raspberry, cinnamon and clove with polished tannins.
A rare sulfite-free red that doesn't sacrifice fruit purity — this is what 'natural' should taste like.
