About this wine
Aria is Borgo Casa al Vento's flagship Chianti Classico DOCG, named after estate co-founder Ria. Made from 100% organically farmed Sangiovese grown on the estate's certified-organic vineyards in Gaiole in Chianti, it ferments in temperature-controlled stainless steel and ages roughly 12 months in barrique followed by further bottle refinement. The wine shows a bright ruby-red color with aromas of red cherry, plum, violet and light spice, leading to a dry, sapid palate with fresh acidity and grainy, elegant tannins on a persistent finish. フォーホ
Foho
RedSangiovese
Foho is Borgo Casa al Vento's Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG, sourced from a single vineyard of the same name. "Foho" means "fire" in Tuscan dialect, referencing the historically hot, structured character of these hillside plots. Made from 100% organically farmed Sangiovese at around 14% ABV, the wine matures in French oak barrels of varying sizes before further bottle refinement. It shows a bright ruby-red color with garnet highlights, an intense bouquet of spiced wood, nutmeg, cacao and violet, and a vibrant palate of crunchy red cherry, strawberry, star anise and a mineral edge, framed by silky tannins and bright acidity.

ヴィンカント
V'Incanto
RedSangiovese
V'Incanto is Borgo Casa al Vento's Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, the estate's top wine and Italy's highest Chianti Classico classification. Production is extremely limited — fewer than 1,000 bottles in most vintages — from a rigorous selection of the best Sangiovese, fermented in stainless steel and aged 24 months in barrique and French tonneaux. The wine shows a vibrant ruby-red hue with garnet highlights, an intricate bouquet of ripe prunes and cherries layered with spiced wood and delicate violet, and a dry, warm, full-bodied palate with firm but polished tannins and a long, elegant finish.
