About this wine
A metodo classico sparkling wine from a blend of roughly 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Nero grown on the Langa hills, aged on the lees for more than four years. The long lees aging imparts notes of bread crust to a complex, full bouquet, with a very dry, long, and savory palate carried by a fine, persistent perlage.
Piedmont's answer to Champagne — a great introduction to Italian metodo classico sparkling wine.
Sommelier's Note
"Four-plus years on the lees gives this the depth and bready complexity that many entry-level Champagnes can't match at the same price."

Excellent as an aperitif, and with risotto ai funghi, fried foods, and aged hard cheeses.
