About this wine

Perdera is Argiolas' Monica di Sardegna DOC, an everyday red built on approximately 90% Monica with small additions of Carignano and Bovale Sardo. Fermented at controlled temperature (around 27-28°C) for 8-10 days with moderate extraction, then developed mainly in concrete tanks with only brief exposure to small French oak casks, Perdera preserves the fresh, juicy character of the Monica grape. It shows a deep ruby color with aromas of plum, blackberry, and rose, leading to a soft, low-tannin palate with bright acidity — designed to be enjoyed relatively young as an approachable, food-friendly daily red.

Beginner's Note
