Korem

コレム

Argiolas

Bovale Sardo · Carignano · Cannonau

About this wine

Korem is one of Argiolas' prestige reds, bottled under the Isola dei Nuraghi IGT and built around the aromatic Bovale Sardo grape (approx. 85%), completed with Carignano (approx. 10%) and Cannonau (approx. 5%). Conceived as a more elegant, fruit-forward counterpart to the estate's flagship Turriga, Korem is aged for around 12 months in barrique followed by further refinement in bottle before release. The result is an intense ruby-red wine with aromas of ripe blackberries, dark cherries, dried figs, cinnamon, cocoa, and Mediterranean herbs, leading to a full, velvety palate of plum, blackcurrant, and licorice framed by silky tannins and a long, spiced finish.
