Argiano

アルジャーノ

A 500-year-old Montalcino estate, organic since 2016, famed for Vigna del Suolo.

Located on a plateau on the southwestern side of Montalcino, Argiano is one of the oldest estates in the region, founded in 1580 by the noble Pecci family. Its ancient calcareous marl soils, formed some 25 million years ago, and elevated position above 350 metres give the wines exceptional freshness and mineral drive. Under CEO and winemaker Bernardino Sani, with consulting winemaker Alberto Antonini, the estate farms organically (certified 2016) and produces elegant, terroir-driven Brunello di Montalcino, including the single-vineyard Vigna del Suolo, alongside the Super Tuscan blend Solengo.

Yes. Argiano began converting to organic farming in 2012 and received organic certification in 2016.
What is Argiano's flagship wine?
