About this wine
The Riserva selection of Argiano's Brunello, made only in the estate's best vintages from 100% Sangiovese. It undergoes longer oak and bottle ageing than the normale, resulting in a more concentrated, powerful wine with notes of black cherry, blackcurrant, cigar box and rosemary, framed by velvety tannins and a long, savory finish.
A special-occasion step up from the normale Brunello — more power and depth, best after a few years in bottle.

ブルネッロ・ディ・モンタルチーノ
Brunello di Montalcino
RedSangiovese
Argiano's flagship Brunello, produced from 100% Sangiovese (the local Brunello clone) grown on the estate's ancient calcareous marl soils above 350 metres in the southernmost part of Montalcino. Aged around 30 months in large Slavonian oak botti, it shows a classic profile of red cherry, wild mint, blood orange and dried herbs, with the estate's signature freshness and mineral drive.
ブルネッロ・ディ・モンタルチーノ ヴィーニャ・デル・スオーロ
Brunello di Montalcino Vigna del Suolo
RedSangiovese
Argiano's single-vineyard cru Brunello, sourced entirely from a 4-hectare parcel of vines planted in 1965 on limestone-rich clay — the oldest and most prized plot among the estate's 58 hectares. Extremely complex on the nose with dog rose, violet, orange blossom, raspberry and cherry, it shows fine, silky, almost saline tannins and remarkable persistence.
ロッソ・ディ・モンタルチーノ
Rosso di Montalcino
RedSangiovese
Argiano's entry-level red, made from 100% Sangiovese with only a year of ageing, giving a more approachable and immediate style than the Brunello. Translucent ruby in color, it shows a floral bouquet of crushed strawberries, roses and sweet herbs, with cherries, fennel and mint on the palate, finishing with elegant, chalky tannins.
ロッソ・ディ・モンタルチーノ セッラ・デル・レッチョ
Rosso di Montalcino Sella del Leccio
RedSangiovese
A single-vineyard Rosso di Montalcino from a young Guyot-trained vineyard planted in 2015 on clayey-calcareous soils, adjacent to the estate's older plots. Aged around 18 months in 15hl barrels followed by a year in bottle, it shows a broad nose of classic fruit with subtle spice and a balsamic, violet-tinged finish, backed by structured, ageworthy tannins.
ソレンゴ
Solengo
RedCabernet Sauvignon · Cabernet Franc · Petit Verdot · Sangiovese
Argiano's pioneering Super Tuscan, first created in 1995 by legendary winemaker Giacomo Tachis. A predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend (with Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and a splash of Sangiovese in recent vintages; historically also Merlot and Syrah), aged in French oak barriques. It shows a captivating bouquet of crushed violets, wild berries and spice, with black pepper, bay leaf and blackberry on the finish.
ノン・コンフンディトゥール
Non Confunditur
RedCabernet Sauvignon · Merlot · Sangiovese
Often described as Solengo's 'younger sibling,' Non Confunditur (Latin for 'not to be confused') blends the same French varieties used in Solengo — Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, and in some vintages Syrah — with Sangiovese, giving a fuller-bodied yet more approachable Toscana IGT red. Expect blackcurrant, cherry, mocha and tobacco notes with a smooth, harmonious palate.
