About this wine

A single-vineyard Barbaresco DOCG from the Basarin cru in Neive, made in traditional large 25hL casks. Notes of ripe cherry, plum and wilted rose blend with spice, leather and tobacco in a hypnotic, enveloping bouquet, alongside wild strawberries and sour cherry with light licorice tones, earth and gravelly minerality. Refined, elegant tannins are harmoniously integrated with vibrant freshness, leading to a long, persistent finish. The 2019 vintage earned Gambero Rosso's top Tre Bicchieri accolade in the Vini d'Italia 2023 guide; a Riserva bottling is also produced in top years.
