Akane Sparkling is a dry rosé sparkling wine from Amanohashidate Winery, a family-run producer overlooking the Amanohashidate sandbar and Aso Bay in Miyazu, Kyoto. Made from the hybrid variety Seibel 13053, it pours a warm 'akane' (madder-red) rosé hue and offers a fragrant bouquet of wild strawberries and red berries. Fine, persistent bubbles carry a crisp, light, refreshing palate at 12% ABV, closed with a traditional cork. It is a fruit-forward, easy-drinking expression of the coastal Tango terroir, sold in 750ml bottles.

Sommelier's Note

A charming, food-friendly rosé sparkler built around the underused hybrid grape Seibel 13053 — a great way to see Tango's coastal terroir through a different lens than Amanohashidate's Saperavi-based reds.
